Wall mounted yoga mat holder. A little home for your mat when not being used. Allowing it to blend eclectically with your decor, while also giving the subtle reminder to take to your practice…take to your mat.Measurements:12″ W12″ – 36″L7″DThese items are made to order at the time of purchase.Choose from a single tier or a 2, 3 or even a 4 tiered yoga mat holder to organize and display your yoga mats and props.I make a pointed triangular silver rod to mimic the chevron design. Rods are durable for heavier mat use.Made with steel silver rods incorporated to hold your mats and props in their secured area. All interior rod holes are reinforced with steel for ease of sliding rods into position and holding heavier yoga mat weight. An all over shou sugi ban technique can be applied to different sections, while alternating chevron arrows are left to a light burn application. The chevron holders are all one solid piece of wood that I carve down into for the pattern design. The chevrons are NOT several pieces of wood glued into place. This gives a long lasting strength to the overall piece. The Shou Sugi Ban (Yakisugi) technique is an ancient Japanese fire burning technique used to traditionally preserve wood by charring it with fire. A light shou sugi ban burn is added to accentuate the wood grain on the outer edges and the back. While I then alternated a white wash in between the heavy fire burning in the center. The blackening on the darkest arrows are from the burning technique and nothing more leaving behind a beautiful texture and silvery black coloring sealed in to give a clean finish. This is a wall mounted yoga mat holder and easy to hang with two precut keyholes on the back side. All 5 elements are used in the making of each item.Earth – (wood, metal)Fire – (sou sugi ban application)Air – (high air flow room for drying process)Water – (water to make color washes and cool the wood while putting out any deeper burns)Ether/Spirit – (the inspiration of the subject matter and use of each product)Each mat tier can hold up to 13 lbs. Two pre-cut keyholes on the back side for easy hanging. Wall screws not included.GIVING BACK:A portion from each sale is donated to a monthly charity chosen each month. It's always been important to try to keep a balance in all things, including when making money. Portions are always given back to help out where there's a need in the world. I also have started a KIVA group to help out with micro loans on the side of the monthly charity donations. Over the past few years we have helped in areas of challenging agriculture needs, educational support, repairing eye sight, surgeries that save a life, feeding in times of crisis, birthing kits to refugees, dental clinics on reservations here and clinics abroad, newborn baby kits for refugees, surgeries for abused dogs, emergency medical supplies and so many more causes. Every little bit does help…it's an inspiring and motivational aspect that I like to look forward to.
