WHAT IS YIN YANG YOGA?
Yin Yang Yoga creatively blends two styles of yoga into one practice. Yin Yoga is practiced at a slower pace and involves passively holding poses so as to work on the deep, dense connective tissues and joints in the body. In contrast, Yang Yoga – such as Vinyasa – is a more dynamic practice that works on the muscles and blood flow, stamina, flexibility, and building strength. Generally, each class includes breathing exercises, a creative and invigorating yoga flow as well as long-held, relaxing postures.
