This video comprises a session of Chair Yoga. Chair Yoga is specifically relevant during these times of “Work From Home”, wherein majority of us as seated in front of tabs and laptops throughout the entire day. Without even knowing our body gets stiff and limbs start aching due to poor blood circulation as a result of constant sitting. Chair Yoga is the most efficient workout in these cases.
The session is divided into 3 modules;
1. Seated arm workouts
2. Seated leg stretches
3. Whole body stretches using chair as prop
The first 2 modules [seated arm and leg stretches] could be done by senior citizens too who find it difficult to perform normal yoga. Use a comfortable, strong chair and do to the extent possible depending upon their capacity and general health conditions.
