Welcome to your creative core vinyasa flow. This 30 minute sequence is great for all levels and offers a creative way to do the poses you know and love while focusing on building core strength. Today’s class includes a slow but dynamic vinyasa flow with a unique take on certain poses. At times it might feel challenging but there is always an option to choose from to make the practice your own.
The class begins with a minute or two in stillness to help you check in, then we move into a core warm up to work the external and internal obliques as well as the transversus abdominis and rectus abdominis. The vinyasa flow part of the class includes a creative standing balance, a playful sequence to step forward from down dog, a core challenge in Triangle pose and a surprise arm balance.Then we wind down in Childs pose and finish with a few minutes of gentle shoulder and neck stretches.
Wether you need to modify to make the pose more accessible or simply fancy a different variation I hope you enjoy finding what works for you. The poses will look different in every body, although there are optimal alignments they don’t always work for every one, so it doesn’t mean you are doing anything wrong if yours looks different to mine, you are simply doing it the way your body intended.

I love your flows! They are challenging but not regimented so I don’t go into my autopilot of the poses. That is so helpful in making the poses come alive for me again after many years of practicing. I believe I’m getting a great workout although I’m focused more on how my body feels rather than the shape it’s in if that makes sense. It’s like primal movement meets yoga
