  • Interesting you mentioned double knee replacements, I'm scheduled to have exactly that in a little over a week. It was an option offered me by the surgeon, prior to that I wasn't aware it was available. Thanks for this video.

  • Good advice but resign yourself to getting little or lousy sleep if u r using opioids to control pain. Two days after surgery I felt like I was hit by a truck. I was completely unprepared for the nausea, the relentless pain, possible addition from the opioids, and the limited assistance I got from my medical team. I planned to do both knees, but canceled the second. No way I will go thru this twice. Been five weeks, still can't bend more than 90 deg. Prior to surgery, build up the strength in your arms and legs so u can use the facilities w/o embarrassment. Have a cane and a walker with a seat and hopefully have a helper on hand who loves you because the drugs and pain will make u very unpleasant.

  • Interesting. I had left knee replaced 15 days ago and am a side sleeper. My hospital ( UK) said only back sleeping and most folk here in the UK seem to have the same advice. Is there any kind of 'danger' to side sleeping like this? Ie any kind of bend concern if sleep on side and slightly bent? I really want to try but am too concerned to.

  • What do u have to do to go pee every 2 to 3 hrs.
