  • Is there a way to do this that doesn’t put a lot of strain on the adductor muscles? Maybe the cross legged 3rd method. Thank you for this. I’ve been getting up and sitting down without using my hands for months because of injuries. I also have a hip injury and think it’s fine for that or has been so far hopefully, knock on wood. Thanks for making this video.

  • I’m new here, i found you on Google searching for how to sit and stand with no hands. Wow, I just saw some of the videos you make. I’m looking for beginner friendly no hands yoga that helps with mobility. I’m subbing and will explore your content you’ve made also. Coincidently, I have a frozen shoulder and that’s the last video you made. I have many limitations so I am Listening to my PT but also I’m glad that you make these videos

  • I am a very fit 71 year old woman, and I have been struggling with this. The secret was in locking my ankles. Now I can get up with no hands! Thanks SO much.

  • I guess I am in decent shape for a woman who is nearing her 69th birthday. I was able to get up from a cross legged position but it’s not easy and you encouraged me to keep practicing!

  • I was doing a search for standing sit ups and happened to see this. I've been focus mainly on cardio, strength and flexibility, but these mobility exercises would great to add to my routines. Thank you!

  • There's no point in being strong if you can't use, or control it. Better to be able to move well.

  • Really well explained and great to see the moves made as slowly as possible and the sames moves repeated again. Sadly I feel I haven`t a hope of ever doing this. I just can`t lift my bum off the floor. You make it look so easy but it really isn`t when you can`t do it. Possibly my legs are too weak but I don`t know how to strengthen them. I am 75 years old and in quite good health, I do stretching exercises every day and I am quite flexible but can`t do this.
