We let our bodies steep at the edge of mild and moderate stress without pushing or striving. We notice the sensation of breathing in and out and allow softening in the body and the mind. By not striving we’re hopefully able to reset our default mode of trying instead of being, so that rather than reacting strongly to our feelings, we can cultivate an internal awareness and learn to engage with our inner worlds from a place of greater peace and understanding.
