This is a yoga routine aimed at strengthening and opening the side body, especially the oblique muscles. It does not include any deep forward bending or back bending. I try to made videos accessible to people with lower back pain, who still want an athletic practice. It does, however, include several twists, so be careful and listen to your own body.
I am certified to teach yoga at the 200 hour level (Kripalu). I do not have any medical background, please do not consider this routine medical advice. It may not be appropriate depending on your injury. Please consult with your doctor.
You should experience zero pain during this practice. If you experience any pain, especially to your injury, please stop immediately. I am at a point where this practice causes my injury zero extra pain.
