Cramps during periods can be quite painful and taxing. While popping a pain killer seems like the easiest option, doing that every month can be quite unhealthy.
In this video I will walk you through some simple yoga stretches that will relive menstrual cramps and will help you relax during your periods.
Reason for Menstrual Cramps
During periods, the uterus contracts to shed the lining inside. The contractions result in cramps and pain in lower abdomen, low back and thighs. Through some simple yoga exercises, we can give gentle stretches to the muscles in these area to relieve the pain.
