It’s YOGA THERAPY THURSDAYS
Today’s topic: Low back, Hip, and Pelvic Floor Health: How to release the lower back and hips
#constructiverest #pelvicfloorhealth #backhealth
Constructive rest is simple! Just put your feet up and relax! This is the first step in alleviating low back and hip pain. If you have bladder incontinence, an overactive bladder, or SI joint pain this is an excellent pose to give the muscles in your pelvic floor (that hold up all your internal organs all day long) a break so they can function better. And even if you don’t have any of those issues it’s a great way to release the tension in your hip flexors from sitting or driving, and if you’ve given birth this is essential in restoring your pelvic floor back to normal. As a bonus it gives the valves in the veins of your legs a break helping to prevent varicose veins 🤗
If you’re suffering from any of the above go to schedule a one-on-one virtual yoga therapy session. #nomorebackpain #backpain #spinehealth
